I spend the majority of my life in the Laundry so it needs to be fully functional. This is also an area where toxic chemicals are stored so I make sure the cupboard is secure with appropriate child proof locks. I have categorised my products so it is easy to access what I need. I found these great Beachwood scoopers that I use for my laundry powder from House. www.house.com.au I also use these in my flour and sugar jars in my pantry.
I do huge amounts of washing at least 1 or 2 loads a day, so I like to have a system. I have washings baskets in the boys rooms and our bedroom. So I collect the laundry from the bedroom baskets then seperate it into the laundry baskets. In the laundry I have three baskets from Kmart ($29) www.kmart.com.au that I then seperate all the washing into. I also have a white bucket that anything heavily stained and needs to be soaked goes into. Jett's dirty work/football gear goes straight into the basket in the laundry.

Im not a keen folder as I find it really time consuming but I do do it for what I need to pjs, kind clothes, workout wear, undies etc. I prefer our clothes displayed in a way that I can see everything in the wardrobe and it saves me time. My system is, as soon as washing that I hang up comes out of the washing machine, it goes straight onto a hanger onto my hangaway clothes organiser and dryer. This is a life saver I cannot recommend it more. It fits 30 hangers at a time and is collapsable for easy storage. I purchased this from Howards Storage World for $69. www.hsw.com.au
